Hi my name is Shannon. I am also 24 years old and looking to lose 30-40 pounds. I am also looking for a group of people to talk to and to lean on for support. This isn't an easy journey to take and it would be so nice to make some new friends to go though this with. If you are interested my email is amaz0n22princess@aol.com the 0 in amazon is a zero.
Thank you,
Shannon
Hey everyone! I'm Brooke.
I weigh 145 lbs. and am 5'2".
I'm hoping to lose 20 lbs. (down to 125 lbs.) or more! The weight isn't as important to me though as the fat burning and toning.
I'm reaching for about 1,200 calories a day. I swim for about 45 mins. to an hour each day. I get to the pool by bike. The distance is about a mile and a half there and a mile and a half back. I also have 1 and a half practices of cheerleading 3 times a week.
When I'm feeling motivated I will go and do 20 mins. on the stairmaster.
I'm really hoping to get a weight loss buddy if anyones interested!!
Thanks!
I'm about 5'9, 145lbs. I would like to get down to 110lb. I'm currently taking a swimming class on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I also swim about 1hr - 2hrs on those days. I also try to be active. I take dance lessons and jog on the days I don't have any activity planned.
My biggest problems is junk food and sweets. Once I'm really determined to eat healthier, I'm hoping the fat will just melt away.
I'm not sure how this works but I'm up for motivating each other to eat healthier and stay active.

I checked out a couple of the group sites and i wasnt able to sind much in the way of someone who kind of has similar goals as mine. im looking for a diet buddy in general... someone to talk to each week about how much i lost that week, etc. im 22 and im looking to lose about 35 lbs or so. if anyone is interested please let me know. i dont care how old you are, what sex you are, nothing- just someone to help get me through!
Well, I'll also be 22 on the 2nd of October and I've got about 13 kilograms to lose - which is about the same as your thing in pounds, I do believe. I'm a female, poor, Australian uni student struggling in a two person household to be fit. I have a fitness first membership and a few flights of stairs.
So basically, pick me! Pick me! I could use a fitness pal.
The best way to get buddies and communicate with them regularly is to start a journal in the Weight Loss Diaries forum. Then you pop into people's diaries and see what they're up to, such as what they're eating, what they've done for exercise, and the ups and downs of weight loss. And hopefully your new friends will stop into your diary as well to see what you've been up to. It really does help with the motivation .
Hello friends, I am 27 years old and I am looking for a diet buddy with similar goals for motivation and encouragement, diet tips and basically just someone to take this long journey with, maybe even a challenge between us, just whatever works. My initial goal is to lose 100 pounds but in the end I would like to have a total lost of around 150 pounds.
