Rep Power: 0 | | Hi, I have tried the 18in4 with great results and lost twelve pounds the first time I tried it. You have to be sensible and follow it exactly as it says or your results will be minimal or none at all (cheaters beware!) I have done it three times in all and will continue, sensibly. The other times I lost ten pounds and then eight pounds. It works for me, what can I say. If you have any doubts at all don't do it. It cost about £12.75 in GB pounds. Only get this diet if you like green beans, boiled eggs and are not a vegetarian because you have to eat meat! |

It is saying that you can lose up to 18 pounds in 4 days and the program is $27 to download. Has anyone tried this program before? If so, were your results positive and could you give more detail of the program? Or if you have any other suggestions that could help me on the road to success then I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Rep Power: 15 | | | 18in4 = quick fix = waste of time and money No really.
This particular diet and many others almost identical in their promises and astounding "real life" testimonials all pretty much add up to the same thing...
A big steaming load of poop.
Do a search for 18in4 and you will see many here tried it, most I read about did in fact lose a fair bit of weight, but the discomfort wasn't worth it and they gained it all back.
I can offer you the same diet for free.
1: Desperately under-eat for a few days and try to load up on low cal or no cal liquids to help the hunger pains. (wont work, but you can try)
2: Revel in the water weight you lose over those 4 days, hopping on the scale frequently. Go Team!
3: Sob quietly to yourself the week after when all that water weight has miraculously come back and you binge right back to where you were before (or bigger)
Only real positive thing I could see coming from all these quick fix schemes and dreams is maybe, just maybe, it will make you angry enough and pissed off enough to give you energy to throw into a healthier plan, which though perhaps slower, has more real, and sustainable goals.... If you can use that anger to fuel your desire to make a real difference, well worth the 27 bucks.
That said, if you REALLY want to throw the money away, please follow my plan and give the money to me!!!! All donations will be happily accepted and put towards my "new skinny clothes fund"
Better yet, stick that 27 bucks with a magnet to your fridge and think about the bathing suit or sexy outfit it will help to buy when you reach your goal the hard way....

Rep Power: 0 | | It's quite astonishing how little faith people have out there. I don't know about anyone else but I can tell you for free that I have nothing to do with the programme! I did do it - I tried doing it three times (so for 12 days) and basically, alongside the fact that there was some "life stuff" I stopped it. I have to tell you, the prawn fried rice with curry sauce that night was VERY much worth it! But in those 12 days I still managed to lose 18lbs. Now (about 2 weeks after maybe?) 4 of those have gone back on. But to lose a stone is quite alright by me! I think those 4 lbs of water I lost were put back on through a mixture of "Absolut" and cranberry juice (though I hear cranberry juice is good for you?!) This "diet" (though I would seriously think of it as more of a detox as you can't maintain it for longer than a couple of weeks) is doable, but maybe not worth your $27 or however many pounds it adds up to. I've just joined a (VERY expensive!) gym which should hopefully help in a more healthy way. And whilst on the topic of what I'd recommend, I did Weight Watchers before - a couple of years ago. Now I didn't pay for it (my Aunty was doing it and basically gave me a points book and slider thing) but with that I lost 3 stones in 4 months. AND you know it's healthy. AND you can eat whatever the hell you want! Just count it in. My plan post-Christmas is to kick myself of with 18-in-4 again, then go back to Weight Watchers. And gym. And quit smoking. Buuuut only after Christmas - might as well indulge in Rum Truffles and some "Christmas Spirit" whilst I can! |

Rep Power: 182 | | What's hilarious to me is that while the obesity epidemic spreads violently each and every year.... we still have people who say things like this. Hahahahaha.
"I can't believe how little faith people have."
Please.
And even with this violent spread of the epidemic.... each and every single week handfuls of *new* diets are strategically marketed to the desperate people trying to lose weight, most with little to no credibility.
So please, do me a favor and tell me why ANYONE should put faith in some stupid, short-term-oriented diet plan promising quick results while keeping the above in mind? |

Rep Power: 0 | | Okay, well I have ordered it and tried it..
The results are exact but, it does work I lost 8 pounds in three days..
The food is kind of hard to eat because to me it is not appetizing at all
But, once you get started you want to do it even more to see how much more weight you can loose it is quite effective I say you should try it.
I did and it worked for me I used to way almost 200 pounds and I went on this and now I weigh 150 pounds. It's really healthy and I find that it's natural and not all those pills and everything... It's easy to do for four days and it's pretty much just a cleanser of the body...
But, it works fantastically! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
