Hi jennifer,WW is going realy well for me so far.I have a long way to go befor i even think about maintenance lol but there is a woman there that lost over 50kg around 110p (she looks so different from her befor photo's) and she is now maintaining. The recipes are ok and you eat a lot of fruit, veg and salad. My weigh in days are mondays so i will let you no how i go this week.
I just bought some WW points guides through "trade me" like Ebay. Really cheap as it is the 2000 edition but it has 5000 foods in there and gives me a good idea! I just bought a little calculator that calculates the points from the kilojoule and the fat content or so - I'll see soon I only just started today, and just read above that I am acctually allowed 20 points, not just 18 so I did more than well with my 19
Yeah, it's me, RetroGirl. I started this thread at the beginning of my Weight Watchers experience, and now, after 14 weeks, I've lost 18 pounds and met my goal weight. I haven't weighed this since I met my husband almost seven years ago! While it wasn't a huge amount of weight, I'd fought hard for those seven years to try to get back here. I am convinced that Weight Watchers is really my answer for life. It's not hard, and it doesn't feel at all "diety." Good luck everybody.
A nurse told me that WW was the best way to lose weight. So I'm pretty sure I'm going to join in the spring. Can anyone is/has been to WW tell me some pros and cons and success stories...
Its A great Program...WHy wait till spring? Git - It - Done today....Dont delay. if you are truly ready to win.........Dont wait till spring...you might change your mind...
well I think weight watchers is good for the diet up to a point. just make sure ya have a good workout plan to go along with it and drink the amount of water they tell ya. you dont have to worry about your weight on here, its pretty much anonymous and theres lots of people "fighting the same fight" good luck to you and have fun with it.
I think the best way for you to get an idea of what ww is really like is to have a look at there forum. You will see the warts and all version of the program from the members. Good luck
