Thumbs up

I love the ww points plan.. I started at 250lbs and 16mths-ish later Im down to 190. I find that everytime i hit that platuea and I stop losing weight I have to change my diet. I will stop the ww point plan (still eating good) but focus more on walking or pilates. 1 time I had sucess doing the slim-fast diet (shake for bfast and lunch) and 3 snacks, and a healthy dinner. I did that for 3 weeks then started back up on the ww plan and i lost 3 lbs the first week, and 5 lbs the 2nd...then it was steady for a few mths.

In Australia you work out how many points according to your weight e.g.:

Women 18+
64kg and under 18 points
65 to 79 kg 20
80 to 94kg 22
95 to 109kg 23
110 to 124kg 24
125 to 139kg 25
140kg and over 26
men 18+

64kg and under 20
65 to 79 kg 22
80 to 94kg 24
95 to 109kg 25
110 to 124kg 26
125 to 139kg 27
140kg and over 28

each day you must eat all your points or it dosen't work.

Sorry mate spelling error fillo pastry. Is like spring roll pastry. It’s a little thicker than paper. I will find you some more chicken recipes. you should be able to buy the pastry at your normal shopping centers, do you have woolworths?

Mexican chicken
serves 4 @4 1/2 pts (I think sorry going off top of head)
500 g chicken (breast or thigh)
1/2 pkt taco seasoning
1 jar salsa
2 tablespoons WW sour cream
Pre heat oven to 180 oC
Place chicken in dish and coat with taco seasoning.
Pour jar of salsa over top of chicken.
Place in oven for around 35 minutes (depends on oven)
Take out of oven and stir sour cream into the salsa sauce, until a creamy consistency.
Then serve. I usually serve this over rice, which is another 2 1/2 pts per serve, so making a 7 point meal.

Chicken Carbonarra 1

200g pasta
2 chicken breast
1 pkt ww bacon
3 eggs
half cup parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic
Fry chicken, bacon and pasta. Drain cooked pasta and add beaten eggs immediately. Add half parmesan cheese and stir. Add chicken and bacon mixture. Add rest of parmesan.
Chicken carbonara 2
serves 6
6 1/2 points per serve
375g dry fettuccine
280g chicken breast fillet, no skin, sliced into strips
1 brown onion finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic
125g ww bacon sliced
1/2 cup dry white wine
300ml light evaporated milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbs ww extra light sour cream
1/2 cup (20g) parmesan cheese finely grated
1/4 cup fresh parsley for presentation
1 Cook pasta in boiling salted water to packet specs. Drain and sit aside
2 Heat non stick pan to medium and coat chicken with cooking spray and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 1min each side. Sit aside
3 coat pan in cooking spray add onion, garlic and bacon. Cook for about 5mins add white wine and cook until it has reduced to half. In a jug whisk together the milk, egg and sour cream. Add to pan and simmer for 3-4 mins until it gets thick. Stir in cheese and chicken and warm through.
4 add sauce and chicken to pasta with parsley and serve immediately with salad

Tandoori Chicken.
Mix 1 tbspn tandoori paste and 1/2 tablespoon low fat natural yoghurt.
Slice 2-3 chicken breasts into the mixture and marinate for 20 mins - 1 hour.
Cook 2-3 mins per side (less if small pieces so it doesn't dry out) on hot pan or bbq.
Serve with sliced tomatoes in basil and balsamic, cucumber, lettuce or with veg (asparagus, corn cob, mushies are good) or you could pop on a wrap with salad and wrap it up.
