Day 2 of Herbalife - I'm taking all the pills but drinking a Slimfast shake for breakfast and lunch - I've found that drinking the actual Herbalife shakes make me vomit...ugggggggh. The calories are about the same, so I'm substituting. I do feel more energized and actually woke up earlier today feeling better.

It's hard drinking all the water though - I'm a traveling nurse, so I don't want to be stopping at the bathroom all day! haha

Thumbs up Herbalife does it for me

Hi. I've been reading through all the posts on Herbalife. I have to say, it all comes dwn to how you make the shakes. I have been on the products for 6 months now. I lost 8kgs (around 16lb) in the first 10 weeks. I've been at this weight before with weightwatches and I can say I'm a much better shape this time around because of the power of protein. I have a waist!!
As to the favour of the shakes, you have to try all sorts or it gets boring...just like anything else. My favourite recipes are vanilla in fruit juice blended with some peaches (sounds yuk but is awesome) Choco soy milk and vanilla (or berry ) and a shake called apple pie which is Vanilla shake, vanilla soy milk, a little cinnimon, couple of drops of vanilla essence and puree apple. YUMMY!!

Question Herbalife shake right before bed?

Hello everyone! I am in the military and have been using Herbalife for almost 5 weeks now. I have a huge question for all the Herbalife users. I work until about 11pm and then go to the gym after that every night. I dont get home until about midnight. Is it alright for me to have a shake that late, and then go straight to bed? With the hours I work, it is a crazy schedule. I get up around 10am. I cook a healthy lunch and eat around 1130 or 12. Then I come home and drinka shake around 7pm. Then get home from work and gym around midnight. I have been drinking a shake after work but just want to make sure it is the correct thing to do. Thanks so much.

Hi,

If you are on the weight loss program you should have (2) shakes per day and (1) healthy meal. What you describe seems in line with the plan.

The most important thing would be the weight loss. Are you losing weight or inches? Are you experiencing any problems?

Arrow Herbalife Research

My sister has been using Herbalife for years and I know she lost a lot of weight. She is a distributor and has done very well with Herbalife.

Well she finally got me to listen to a presentation and I have to say I was impressed. I thought I would do some research online and that's where I found this forum. It looks like some of you are getting great results.

I was wondering if any of you are distributors and if you have been having success as a business as well as loosing weight?

The home page link in my profile goes to my sisters website.

Maybe some of you might know her from the Herbalife business she has been doing it for years.

With Herbalife you can get healthy weight-management support with their nutritional shake and select enhancers that support weight loss and Cellular Nutrition. I am a Herbalife client and now a distributor. I used to weight about 230 pounds and started to diet, I was a yo-yo dieter and couldn't take the rapid weight loss and weight gain so I decided to look for help in a product. I looked into Herbalife and found out that it was all natural and weight loss was possible through and enhancement of my metabolism using natural ingredients. As stated before I used to weight about 230 pounds and now I weigh 160. I've only been on the diet for about 4 months. I love the products so much I became a distributor and now I am trying to promote good health and at the same time an opportunity for people to live a well-being lifestyle and a wealthy lifestlye, the Herbalife lifestyle.

There are many different products from shakes to pills that'll help weight loss but I would recommend one of the ShapeWorks programs. There are three different programs and each program has a "Protein Plus" if you choose to have more of a protein intake. I would recommend the Protein Plus and I will explain why later.

1. ShapeWorks Quickstart
Comes with:
* Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix (550g)
* Formula 2 Multivitamin Complex
* Cell Activator®
* Herbal Concentrate (50g)

2. ShapeWorks Advanced
Comes with:
* Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix (550g)
* Formula 2 Multivitamin Complex
* Cell Activator®
* Herbal Concentrate (50g)
* Cell-U-Loss®
* Total Control®

3. ShapeWorks Ultimate (recommended)
Comes with:
* Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix (550g)
* Formula 2 Multivitamin Complex
* Cell Activator®
* Herbal Concentrate (50g)
* Cell-U-Loss®
* Total Control®
* ShapeWorks® Variety Pack (14 count)
* Snack Defense™

Protein Plus option:
Studies have shown that having protein in the morning before you leave the house boosts up your metabolism during the day by about 43%. As for carbs it will only boost it up by about 3%. Protein also helps with creating lean muscle mass, and everyone knows the more muscle mass you create the more fat you burn.
If you decide to get one of the ShapeWorks programs with the Protein Plus option you will also receive the
Herbalife Personalized Protein Powder
the personalized protein powder is flavorless so you can add this into your shakes, sauces, soups and more. It is a fat-free protein supplement for hunger control and healthy weight management with 5g of soy and whey protein, and all 9 essential amino acids. You only need to take 1 to 4 servings of it daily.
Benefits:
* Satisfy and control hunger
* Support adequate protein intake with low-fat protein
* Build and maintain lean muscle mass

For more information on any of the products and the programs please contact me via e-mail at jhyuk88@gmail.com
I will be happy to share my story and to answer any questions you have.

1 post and already pitching? heh.

2004COBRA, there is no conclusive scientific evidence proving that calories ingested at night are metabolized differently than other times. Therefore, it is not the time of day that leads to weight gain, but rather the total daily caloric intake as a whole. Whether you're eating in the morning or at midnight, your body turns any extra calories into fat.

Are you lactose intolerant and drinking the shakes with milk? That'll get someone to puke. =P

Smart herbalife

Hi there, I just started the ultimate program and it's going okay so far. the only thing i would recomend to other users or people looking at getting started would be to search the net for discounts. My distributor charged me almost 100$ over the market price which usually is around 180$ i was charged 260$ plus shipping . And just today i found the exact same program for 140$ so I would look around before you decide to buy through an in home distributor.

Herbalife

Hi all,

I have joined the forum today! I am also part of another forum but the herbalifers are a bit shy at posting and I would love to have a fellow herbalifer chum to chat to!

Anyway my comments on Herbalife?
Well I tried the plan and gave myself 12 weeks on it to see. I was sceptical but because I find it relatively easy to do fits in with my lifestyle I am happy with it.
I have been on this plan since 2nd week in July, where I found a flyer for the community weight loss challenge...where over 12 weeks the 'biggest loser' gets a cash prize. Something about the flyer just kept catching my eye so I went for it, and I am not a lover of weight classes.

Anyway, here I am still enjoying it. What I will say is the shakes are what you make them - you want it with milk you can do that I honestly cannot stomach it like that which I found strange as I like milk but I do have it sometimes with soya milk I find this great for munchie days at certain times of the month. Usually tho I take it in fruit juice together with added protein powder. Seasonal fruit is great I chuck in plums, or apples, raspberries strawberries whatever is in at the time really (family fruit trees are great free fruit!)

I only take the multivitamin along with this and the herbal tea which is fantastic it has really helped my energy throughout the day.

So I am happy but it won't be perfect for everyone. Lets face it the world would be a boring place if we were all the same.
