on the plan, u first start with 1 pill twice a day, for a week. a balanced reduced calorie diet, and easy exercise.
the second week, u start taking two a day twice a day, and it doesnt go more then this amount for the rest of the diet. the cardio increases 5 minutes every week. the second month, the workout gets a little harder, but should be easier then u would think since the first month your doing lighter workouts, and getting stronger. some of the workouts, are, lunges, calf raises, crunches. you workout every other day. thats pretty much what i can remember off the top of my head. it does have caffeine in it.
hope this helps |

When my husband would hit a platue for diets getting ready for body building shows he would do the last 2 suggestions but it hasn't always worked for me. I have a cheat day once a week and am still loosing.
Hope this helps |
Cheat day? I've heard this term used several times on this site. What does it mean? |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Breast shrinkage... Slimquick I've lost 40 pounds so far and I've already gone from a D to a C cup. My question is... is there any way to maintain breast size? I saw a commercial that is for "reasons why women have trouble losing weight" and it caught my eye.
Has anyone ever tried this?
Is it safe?
Does it even help? |

Rep Power: 12 | | I've lost 68 pounds and have gone from a C to a B. I still have 40+ to go. I know from past experience when I was that size before I was an A. That was many years ago before I had my daughter, which may make a difference. That's okay by me. Breast size has never been a big deal to me. My best friend had a boob job. More power to her.
I'm sorry to tell you that. It may not be the same for everyone.
I don't know if the commercial you saw or the program will help or not. I have never heard of it. |

| Yeah -- boobage shrinkage was surely the reason why I had trouble losing weight in the past - - :insert eyeroll here: Not paying attention was the reason... me being a boob, but not my boobs were the problem.
i believe your breast size is pretty much predetermined - my size has gone down proportionally -I've losr over 190 lbs and started at a 44DD now I'm a 36DD - cup size is the same -but I wish they'd shrink.
Lose the weight - invest in sweatsocks, or kleenex, or those silocone cutlet thingies and pad your bra... and enjoy the fact that a bra can be an optional garment and not mandatory like some of us
you could probably do exercises for your chest -
remember junior high -
we must
we must
we must increase our bust -
( a l ittle diddy to go with the isometric exercises)
and that might make them perkier... but it's not gonna make 'em bigger

Rep Power: 8 | | | slimquick Ive been seeing ads for this product all over tv, and in magazines. It is a "diet" pill for woman, and it bring into count the 6 reasons why its hard for women to lose weight Home
now Im not looking in anyway for an easy quick way to lose weight, byt maybe a jump start to help me. I find it very hard for me to lose weight
I could basically stop eating and STILL gain weight...
(on another note, is there somewhere that tells you what types of food to eat to boost your metabolism..i have a very sluggish one at that)
Thanks
(this is not an open thread for you to judge me or say rude comments about ussing an "aid" in weight loss, I just want to know your nice opinions) |

Rep Power: 79 | | unfortunalty you are kidding yourself still about how many calories you are eating.
If you eat less calories than you use then you will loose weight. Pills cannot burn calories. There are a few that help supress the appitite, but you should be able to eat 1500 calories and be full all day easily enough if you eat the right foods. |

Rep Power: 217 | | There's no real magic to boosting your metabolism - no special foods, drinks, or pills...
What boosts your metabolism and oddly enought helps to lose weight at the same time is consistent behavior.
What does your meal plan look like on a five day basis
What does your strength training plan look like on a five day basis
What's your cardio plan for those same five days
the answer is in those three questions.. not in a bottle.
The six reasons why it's hard: Stress - If a person stress eats -then yeah that makes a difference but finding something to do other than emotional eating is your answer -not a pill
Metabolism - a lot of people kill their metabolism by years of crash dieting -they loose 20lbs then gain it all back in months - repeat cycle... Dieting is bad for metabolisms, in my estimation... Lifestyle changes are what will work - a realistic calorie range that has foods you do enjoy and doesn't leave you feeling deprived is the way to go... Strength training and building muscle (no you won't bulk up) helps immensely with metabolism (muscle is the reason why it's said men lose weight easier than women do,b ecause they have more muscle) but being consistent is what your metabolism needs..
Appetitie - Find the foods that fill you up - proteins are low in calories and tend to be quite filling -
Water - watching sodium intake and making sure you're drinking enough water -helps a lot with water retention Energy - making sure you're eating enough helps with energy and have a regular workout schedule
Hormones - hormones get the blame for a lot of things -including bad behavior on the part of some women - I've never been clear why women are suprised by the fact that they get their period every month - did they miss that day in school when they sent the boys out of the room and showed a film? keep a calendar of your moods as they are based on your cycle... and find ways to work with your body - and know how your body works... it's your body and only your body. and if there's a real pattern there - talk to your doctor about options... |

Rep Power: 8 | | My mom has a similar issue with losing weight. She's absolutely meticulous about what goes in her mouth and she does cardio 45 minutes nearly every day and strength trains on most days, too.
Besides, all that, she eats out 3-5 time a week (whenever my dad has a bad day), which messes up everything she's worked for. She's also one of the few women who can bulk up when she weight trains, which messes with her weight as well. Through all that, she's still losing in small increments.
Try a food diary before you say it's really hard for you to lose weight.
And check the back of the pill package. I almost bought Dexatrim once until I saw the label that said "May cause personal death".
Overall, good luck! |

Rep Power: 8 | | I was actually talking to my mom yesturday and she told me a story. A few years back she had went to her doctor about losing weight and he recomended a appetite supressant pill, so thinking that "its from ym own doctor" it must be safe. A few days later she went out with my dad and had a beer or 2 and my mom passed out (people thought she was drunk :P ) so she was rushed to the hospital. Something had mixed with the alchohol and had made her sick. So now im frightened to even think about taking some stupid pill. Its not that I want to do this quick and fast, I juxt think i need some help.
I eat fairley well and work out as much as i can...im getting a bunch of my friends to help me out, and come to the gym with me and stuff like that. Thankyou for all your comments and such |

Rep Power: 217 | | good girl for opting against the pill...
And spend some time reading the stickied threads -
a lot of people end up with trouble because they aren't eating enough - I know that doesn't sound intuitive - heck 21 months ago that made no sense to me - but you really need to spend the time figuring out where your maintence calories are -and adjust from there...
and don't worry so much about the number on the scale - how you're feeling, how your clothes are fitting, etc are so muchmore important. |

Rep Power: 0 | | SLIMQUICK?? Anyone? I am on my second week of slimquick pills. I have lost six pounds so far, but this week I started taking two pills in the morning and two pills six hours later, as directed. Since I started taking the two pills, I get nauseated, and my heart beat feels funky. I know these pills contain a lot of caffeine, could that be what is making me feel weird? Has anyone had this problem? Also, do you think I could go back to taking one pill in the morning and one pill in the afternoon? I'm sure I won't get results as fast, but I'd rather feel good while losing weight rather than not being able to breathe!
