Rep Power: 10 | | There is no magic pill out there that truely works. If your diet and training is 100% spot on, they may help a very small %, but ONLY then should you even think about trying any of them. |

Rep Power: 83 | | Man...if only we could invent a magic pill we'd be RICH!!
Oh wait, all those pill producing companies are trying to do just that
Really, if you have to use the pills in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise, then why pad the pockets of a company trying to get rich off of the desires of millions of people wanting an "easy way" to get slim?
You CAN lose weight without pills - I've lost around 73 pounds just watching what I eat and moving more.
You CAN do this
Best of luck to you! |

Rep Power: 0 | | I have already lost 47 pounds on my own with diet and exercise, I still eat very healthy and exercise 6 times a week and my body does not want to move from 144 .. I have been this weight for 5 months and I want to get these last 15 pounds off. I feel that the only next thing to do is pills I am just getting so frustrated. In the beginning the weight just came off with no problems now its hell to lose. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Cheetah47. Slim quick? NO. Trim spa? HECK NO (just look at Anna Nichole, she's skinny but CR@ZY!) .
Honestly if a drug has not been approved by the FDA...it either does not work, or its side effects outweigh its benefits. The only appetite suppressants that have been tested for accuracy and effectiveness are not available without prescription, and you would have to be classified as obese or morbidly obese before most doctors would consider prescribing one. Take it from a girl who's pre-med., most of those diet drugs advertised on tv are empty supplements that can do some major damage in the long run.
If you feel that you really need extra help with losing weight, consider seeing your regular physician and they can suggest medicated and/or non-medicated treatments. Just remember, as everyone has mentioned before, there are no miracle pills and even if you do find a medication that works, it will most likely be short lived (prescription or not).
Once a nutritionist told me that if you are counting calories and hit a plateau in your weight loss, consider finding out how many calories a person of your "goal" weight would need to consume in order to maintain their weight. Its a little way to get your body to burn what its not using for maintenance. Hope this helps
Oh, and congrats on losing 44 lbs! You've done so good so far. Good luck and keep us posted |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hey I've been trying them for a week now, and while I'm eating less and working out more I've lost five pounds. There is NO miracle drug, but it does make you feel fuller and while I have a very un normal eating habit I think it helps with my cravings.
I lost 50 pounds the old fashion way but when I started this job there was no way to balance it all out.
Good luck and whatever you choose, keep us updated. : ) |

I've been using Slim Quick for about two weeks. I've lost 5 lbs, but it's mainly because I work out a lot of the time. Since Slim Quick has a lot of caffeine it will make you pee a lot, which is good for me because my body seems to retain water. It also makes you sweat more during workouts..well for me anyways. I'm trying to lose around 20 lbs and I've hit a plateau...so I'm seeing if this will help. I'm right at the point where I can't get past 150...it's like my body is stuck. I will never use the four pills a day it says to use after one week because the amount of caffeine-like stimulants would send me through the roof and I wouldn't want any big breakouts. I just stick to the two a day. |

There are a few things you can do.
-have a cheat day, go balistic, shock the hell out of your body
-eat high carbs for 2 days then low carbs for 2 days
-do cardio twice a day for 30-45mins sessions.
When my husband would hit a platue for diets getting ready for body building shows he would do the last 2 suggestions but it hasn't always worked for me. I have a cheat day once a week and am still loosing.
Hope this helps |

Rep Power: 0 | | | hey everyone ... so I did the smilquick pills for 2.5 weeks and OMG I messed my system up .. my period came a week early and I was bleeding heavy for 13days which is not normal for me. I guess what happened is I got too much estrogen. Those pills have a hormone blance in them and I am also on BC pills so I was my hormones were already balanced. All those pills did was mess my system up.. I just threw them out 2 days ago and the next day I had a killer headace and I was really tired. I never nap in the day and I fell asleep for 3 hours. If anyone is taking these pills and is on BC pills STOP NOW...... you will mess up your system. |

Rep Power: 0 | | slimquick? i was wondering if anyone has tried slimquick. i did it for a month, and lost about 7 pounds, but it was a bad time to start, cuz it was around my bday, and i wanted to eat. and i had way to many cheat days. my plan is to return back on it next week. and this time i think i can be serious about it since i now have this forum to come to.
slimquick is that weight loss capsule made specifically for a womans body. it did help with the water retention. im really feeling the annoyingness of water retention without the pills, and i hate it. i retain to much water.
so has anyone tried it? anyone want to try it, and do the plan with me? i think its a pretty good one. u eat a well balanced diet, and get good exercise.
have a great day mommies! im off to get the little one a bath |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hey Emma, How are you? I tried slimquick alittle while back and it is a pretty good program. Although I do know of a program that you might be interested in I have been doing a nutritional cleansing program. To be honest, I can't tell you how much better I feel and how much thinner I am.
Take care,
