Rep Power: 0 | | | Morbidly Obese I simply cannot do a lot of the exercises that are on TV etc.
I am 6'1 350 pounds, and cannot get in a lot of the positions that are required.
Does anyone have any good exercises for people in my situation? |

Rep Power: 13 | | Hey I was 300 pounds almost when I started excersizing...I couldnt do much. I got a recumband cycle and put it on the lowest setting started with 10 min. at the time worked up to 2 hrs and lost 130 pounds! all on that cycle mostly. When I started it was the only thing that didnt hurt my back! I gave my cycle to my mom and gained gained gained! So now I got a new one and I'm losing again! This one I will keep forever!
Good luck! You can do it! |

Rep Power: 17 | | | my highest was above 326 lbs, stationary bike is about the best thing, no impact, start with slow and steady, as it gets easier, make it harder with resistance, short bursts of speed etc. it'll take time but you'll start to show improvement.
big tip...

Rep Power: 0 | | I started three weeks ago at ~320. I tried walking, but had terrible shin pain, even on the treadmill. So I've been doing my cardio on the stationary bike and having no problems. At some point I'd like to start walking/jogging, but it's just not happening right now. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
