Does anyone know anything about the effectiveness of strippercise? I've heard that it's especially good at getting your heartrate up, blasting fat and building strength in your arms and legs... I suppose it's like any other type of dancing... But I'm not really sure what the benefits of it are exactly...
Mmmm, I think I will. I know there's a place in the town that I live in that teaches women's only pole dancing classes... Apparently it's a SUPER hard workout. I'll keep you posted on whether or not that's true
I also bought a pole you an put in your bedroom. Its currently packed up, but when i used to have it out it was so much fun. I never took any lessons, just watched some youtbe vids, learnt some moves and Voila. It was alot of fun, and if you do it for long enough its a fun, good workout i believe.
Hi,
I also have the Carmen Electra ones, and they're not bad. I've always wanted to get a pole for my home , I went to a new night club last month and there were 2 poles, the club thankfully was near closing time so it was pretty empty, I HAD SO MUCH FREAKING FUN!!! It was surrounded by mirrors, and there were couches, I had my fiance sitting on the couch, hehe Ok sorry got off track.
But getting back on target, ummm... I know the poles work good, as for classes, I wish there was a place that I could attend. And even if it didn't work (which I doubt), you could always have fun later with your hunny
Hola... tried out the Carmen Electra DVDs and I think they're so so. However, one of my close friends is a stripper and she has a pole at her house for practice purposes. HA! I have to say, that's definitely some acrobatic shite right there. hahaaa! If anything, you'll definitely work harder if you have to try lifting yourself up a damn pole if you're heavier. (Believe me... at 200 I was freaking DYING. HAHAAA!) Cardio wise... I think you're better off playing "Splash Dance," throwing on some leg warmers and doing that infamous running move or better yet, throw on "footloose" and go crazy. But hey.. that's just speaking from experience. Pardon me.. I have a date with my leg warmers.
