need to lose 10 pounds in 5 weeks!

on july 28, i will be going to my friends party, where i will see an ex that i haven't seen in years-i really want to look good!what can i do?

Read the diaries to get an idea of what people do to lose weight, it's really a simple thing if you get the will to be active.

oh man, we all know that need to look good in front of an ex...

the best way to start to lose weight without trying to hard is to cut out all carbs after 6pm so that none are sitting in your system when you wont be using them (youll be sleeping). Also just limiting you caloric intake to lower than your bmr (you can find a calculator just by typing it in on google). Weight loss is all about burning more calories than you take in. Your bmr is simply the number of calories your body burns everyday without exercise or anything included. its basically how many calories you would burn if you laid in bed all day and did nothing. SO figure out what the nunber is and limit your calories to below it!! good luck!

Oh, I never knew what a BMR is, thanks for letting me now, now I know how the whole process of weight loss goes a little more in detail.

True. But there is nothing wrong with a little added incentive when that cookie is staring you in the face!!

I am trying to lose 12.5 by july 29 so I feel your pain! Hang in there... we can do it.

Men suck! They deserve to be shown what they don't have anymore. It kills them. But I do agree, do it for yourself too. The more you get into the frame of mind, the more the ex thing will be possible. So be good to yourself and really work at it. He'll be kickin' his arse when you walk in.

Start burning calories. If you can walk for an hour a day, burning 500 calories on your walk, that should be a pound per week in fat if you don't increase your food consumption. Combine that with sensible eating and you should be well and truly able to achieve this goal! Good luck!

shit. the party is in two days. i haven't lost any weight. i can't beleive that i had a month before i see him, and it was the one month i didn't diet or axercise. i think maybe there's something emotional going on with that. fear of being thin and vulnerable???i really don't know, but i feel gross and tired if i don't try to stay on track, so as of yesterday, i'm back on board! i won't be any thinner when i see him, but i am going to hold my head up and have fun with my friends. and i am going to lose this last 20 lbs for myself! so i can look good in clothes i like, so i can have weird men stare at me! lol, i know that's bad, but i used to get checked out on the daily, now i'm invisible. it reinforces how bad i look. sorry 4 babbling!

You dont have to go below bmr. I always recommend staying above bmr, unless you're really overweight, then its a different story. Combine bmr plus your activity level and go below that.

Don't worry

Don't worry about your weeght, just make Yoga exercises and drink green tea. My weight is 231 pounds. I lost 24 p. at least within 2 month, because I make yoga ex. (twice a day), drink green tea (4-5 cups.)
I don't use any special diet.

Splurge on a new outfit!

Don't give up, the right outfit can easily take 10 pounds of you!

If you not already a clothes fiend, go out on the town to a really nice shop. Stop by victoria secret and get a bra that supports you in all the right ways (foundation garments are everything)! Then get a well made tailored outfit or a dress that has darts in the bust and a fitted waist with an a-line skirt; that flatters your figure to the max. I find that the clothes at Banana Republic are designed with the curvy girl in mind. Oh and remember heels make legs look amazing, just a little 2 inch heel can make you calves look super hot

You just need to eat right and exercise, and dont eat after 7PM. And make sure you eat breakfast, NOT PANCAKES, but a healthy breakfast ^^
