Rep Power: 0 | | | Drumming/Treadmill? Hello. I am 15 and, yes, I am a little pudgy I was wondering, I have a wierd combo Ive been doing for a couple days.
Play drums (full trapset, metal band so I play intensely) about 40 Min a Day. Treadmill 20 min a day set to be like walking up a hill at a fast walking pace.
I'm taking pills to increase my metabolism starting today and I'm eating Weight Watchers meals starting today. If I continue this routine will I lose enough weight? currently I'm about 5'7 and weigh 185 pounds, I'd just like to be skinny. I'm not trying to gain muscle
Thanks,
MGP |

| at your age, taking pills is a really bad idea.. I'm not sure there's any pill out there that will increase your metabolism... so adding in pills is just not healthy for you long term. Quote: |

| How many calories a day are you consuming. At your age, your body is still changing and developing you want to make sure that you have adequate nutrtion to accommodate your changing body.. My bet would be that the WW meals are going to give you very low calories... Quote: |

Please remember that you're still very very young, your body is still growing and changing and developing, what you are now is not where you will be in 5 years. Quote:

Now is the time to develop proper eating habits and eat healthily, weight watchers dinners aren't the way to go. Talk to your parent or guardian or whoemver is in charge of meal preparation and work out a healthy meal plan that includes real food - not processed. Quote:

Rep Power: 0 | | Get rid of the pills. They don't do anything and are a waste of money. Buy good food, not frozen entrees. They taste gross and have too much salt.
Eat fruit, veggies, whole wheat breads, cereals and pastas, and lots of turkey, chicken, fish (protein is good!) Low fat yogurt and string cheese are good snacks.
Eat every couple of hours, but not too much at a time. Watch how big your portions are.
My son is your age and loves to play the drums. I've seen him work up an incredible sweat after just a few minutes. Perfect combination! Fun activity that burns calories. Do something every day that really gets your heart pumping.
Boys continue to grow taller until the age of 19,20 so your body still has a lot of changing to do. Eat less, move more. It's great that you are learning about healthy habits now, being so young. Good for you and good luck! | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
