Eating BEFORE Exercise

Ok heres my new dilemma.

I just joined my local gym and they've got me on this "circuit trainer" that looks like this:

Stepper: 5min
Push Ups: 3xMax
Cross Trainer: 10min
Crunches: 3x20
Bike:10min
Dips:3x10
Rowing:1000m
Back Extensions:3x10
Tredmil:10min

Thats what it baisically looks like without specifics. Now as you can see, thats a bloody tough workout and I'm going to be doing it at 12:30 6 times a week. Now I tried it today and I got half way through when I couldnt feel no more energy. This is because I woke up late, had no time to eat and ran off to the gym.

Now my question is, what should I eat before I go to the gym so I can complete this workout without feeling energyless. And how long before I go should I eat it ?

actually its better to do your exercise on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, that way you burn your fat stores first. but since your running out of steam and need something before your workout, i'd suggest a very small snack like a protein bar.

So does the "not eating before working out" work in the evenings too?? When I get home from work I'm usually starved but that's the best time for me to work out. I don't have much time before bed! Should I wait and eat after the work out? I always thought that if you didn't eat before you worked out then your body would start burning muscle instead of fat?!
