Penny...I feel the same way! I was totally raised to not snack between meals, and eat only three times a day, MAX. These between meal snacks are hard to get used to....I feel guilty, like I'm eating too much.

Word. Also, make sure when you eat a snack... that it has protein in it as well. For instance: sliced apples with peanut butter (none of that low fat crap either... PB has good fats, so don't frett. Just make sure you eat a serving size. haha) or cottage cheese with fresh fruits (I know a lot of people hate cottage cheese, but that bad boy has ~14g of protein per half cup). Oh... bah... before I forget, don't put off resistance training either, girl. You need to maintain the muscles you already have.

Thanks, Sheryl. I've kept hitting a plateau but didn't realize I've been putting myself in starvation mode.
Isn't it nice saying you can eat all damn day and still lose weight? HA! If only I knew this back in the days, but hey.... here's to getting our shite together, everyone! Good luck with it!

Many thanks...

Right....snacks with protein. I've been craving peanut butter recently, so apples will be a good excuse to get a dose or two in. I can't say I've ever tried cottage cheese alone (only on lasagna), so I'll give it a whirl, too.

And the weights...they're staying around. I'm still at the 50 pound reps, so I'll stick there for a while.

Thanks so much for all your help!!!!!

Is it weird that I love cottage cheese? There's just something about the texture that appeals to me.

I like cottage cheese as well, specially with melon.

I'm just the opposite, Penny....I'm not sure about cottage cheese BECAUSE of the texture. I think that makes ME weird....
