diet help?
i'm pretty new to
diet /excersize.. i'm not really overweight but i could stand to lose some
pounds in my stomach and chest. i'm about 6' and i weight 165.
i've cut my
diet to: salads, rice, fruit and veggie sandwiches..
3 times a week i run 1.5 - 2 miles, do 50 situps and 20 push ups.
it's minimal but like i said, i'm new. just wanted to get some better advice on what i could be doing differently/better.. like i said, i'm trying to focus on my stomach and chest..
thanks!

Replace meat with tofu and beans (that is, if you don't eat chicken or fish either...)

i will eat fish, just nothing land dwelling, however i prefer not to.
i really dig tofu though, so adding beans and tofu does the trick? how does protein help to lose weight?

protein is vital to maintaining lean muscle on your
body . Its also that little kick some get when you are exercising!
Lean proteins like chicken and fish also help in keeping you full for longer, with little
fat .
