When is the best time to walk/power-walk/do cardio? I've been doing it just before dinner in the evening, so about 7pm-8pm for me.
Would the morning be better? If so, why?

Just make sure that your body has enough time to wind down before going to bed - exercise tends to recharge people so you might end up being awake laterin the evening than youintend |

It does the same to me. I walk in the morning, mainly because that is the only time I can do it. I'm so tired when I finish, but I sit and rest a bit and then the sleepiness goes away, then I am energized for the rest of the day. On the weekend when I walk, sometimes I crawl right back into bed and fall asleep. |

Rep Power: 16 | | Hmmmmm...I usually walk in the afternoons when I do walk because that's when I have free time, but I enjoy walking more in the morning. I feel like it jumpstarts my metabolism and the cool Alabama air (one of the only times it feels cool most of the year) helps me wake up a bit.
But like Mal said, best time to do it is whenever possible. |

Lately I've been walking when I get home at night about 7pm and then when I crawl into bed at night I zonk out and I am not so sore when I wake up in the morning. I think it doesn't matter too much when you do it, it just matter that you do it!!! |
