Possible or not?

Hi there, I hope that you could help me with my situation. I have big/bulky calves, which I think I acquired from my mother's side. Is there any way to slim them through doing some sort of exercise or anything? I am aware that spot reduction isn't likely, and that stretching somewhat helps, but other than those, is there anything else that would be helpful? It really bothers me as I'm really insecure about them and feel really uncomfortable showing my legs.

Thanks so much.

This is your first post and you've listed virtually no information about yourself.

What are your current stats -height/weight/age - etc..

and what are the size of your calves...

Calves are a tough place to lose fat from - i've lost a bunch of inches from every part of my body - my calves - not quite as much as the rest - but they are getting smaller..

im around 117 lbs, 5'3", 24 y/o
i dont know the exact measurement of my calves but they are really muscular and bulky.

so you mean to say that it's harder to lose inches in the calves than other body parts?

I think your calves are what they are going to be. You don't need to lose weight, therefore, you aren't going to get anything off your calves.

Gosh, I wish I was 117. But, I'm slowing getting there. Hmm, I would think that if you exercise and maintain a good eating pattern, you should be okay. You are right about the spot reduction, so overall condition is best. Plus, I don't think they're that huge. Maybe you're just a little.. what's the word kids use these days.. trippin' or is that out>? I'm getting old, I can't remember all these ebonic words, my bad.

Pictures?
