I guess what I really want is to be nicely proportioned - you know, try and have the top balance out the *ahem* rather ample booty. Heavy compounds, squats, dead lifts, bench press, pullups (pulldowns) 5 sets of 5 to help maintain muscle mass, get on a good diet program to lose weight and make sure you're getting adequate amounts of protein. sooner or later the fat will start to come off of those stubborn areas.
of course cardio is important as well to help acheive your calorie deficits and allows you to eat more. |

You're not alone bro; I also have manboobs and I know how embarrassing it can be in public. And don't tell me, you find that the condition is less noticeable immediately after you step out the shower in the cold?
The only permanent solution for manboobs is surgery. Unfortunately this is somewhat expensive and this is why I haven't been able to get the operation yet.
In the mean time I'd suggest doing press-ups every day and do weightlifting that develops the pectoral muscles. This stretches out the fat and spreads it out slightly thinner resulting in a less pointed appearance. It works for me.
I also found that cardio weight-loss has greatly reduced the size of my manboobs, although to be honest I was grossly overweight before.
I also went for a scan at the hospital and just like you I found that it was all fat and no breast tissue. I'm gonna keep doing the cardio + weights until the appearance of manboobs is minimal. I recommend you do the same. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hey. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this could be gene deformity. Some men just end up developing man boobs. I was reading this article online about it the other day. It was a list of "weird" but very common deformities. On the other hand, I thought my current bf was doomed to have "man boobs" (he was 6'3 and 235) but he started running and fell in love with it. Now he runs 6 miles 3 times a week and his man boobs are almost gone! Just running off the fat melted his man boobs. Try stepping up the cardio to see the best results. |

I say increase protein intake, increase cardio, and do some weight training so you don't lose any muscle, while burning that embrassing fat. |

So Now the guy that posted about getting surgery is the only way to get rid of them really makes it seem like all the cardio and going to the gym is worth nothing. I do not have money to get surgery for this problem I was hoping just to end up losing them by going to the gym a lot. |

Rep Power: 0 | | you're not alone..man!i've the same problem. but the origin of my problem is a bit different than yours. when i was skinny, i did a lot of chest excercises which inclues improper push ups and a lot more similar to that.my pecs were a little poped up but as i was skinny it was not noticeable .but now i've gained some weight and suddenly my pecs poped up a lot.they look like boobs.the more embarrasing side is- it is clearly noticeabe from every kind of clothes.i'm confused wether to do incline press and flys or not because i've heard that it'll make boobs more noticeable and gives body an improper shape.but cardio is fine and i'm playing a lot of soccer right now.
so,i think you should forget about the gym and go for more cardio.
