Any suggestions on weight loss without weight lifting?
I have been trying to lose weight for the last couple years. I have tried a few things, but I havent had much advice on the matter. I do not own any weights of my own, and I dont live near a gym. I am just wondering if anyone knows a good way to lose weight by exercising without weights, whether it be running, sit-ups, push-ups, whatever will help.

Definitely read the stickies. Their an accumulation of knowledge gathered from people asking questions just like this. This question gets asked quite frequently.
I'll add though, that you certainly don't NEED to lift weights in order to lose weight. It helps, but again, not necessary.
You haven't been successful you say. I promise it's not b/c you aren't lifting weights. It probably has more to do with diet and consistency, as well as expectations.

His books are mostly geared towards fighters but since that entails strength, explosive power, anaerobic endurance, and speed. They are pretty much universal for anyone. I canceled my gym membership and bought Never Gymless.

You ever try the 100 Burpee Challenge Steve? One of my goals is to get under 10 minutes. Of course first I must actually do 100. Then I will work on time but it is still a goal.

I haven't, actually. I think I'd be pretty good at it though... I might try that soon just to see. Anymore, my time is so limited that I stick almost exclusively with heavy weight training in the gym. Very little calisthenic stuff.... it just doesn't match my goals at the moment.
