Hey, has anyone had any positive results with the intense weight loss, muscle gaining program known as P90x? I've heard only positive things about it but that was only twice, so eh...*cough* anybody? *cough*
I know I'm ready for it but yeah, all opinions about it, or any other personal programs, even those created by members would be appreciated.
I bought the video because I figured if I liked it I could always do a second round when I was in better shape. There is a fit test that you take before you start and I just squeaked through because I can't really do push-ups. I think the program is worth doing even if you're not in good shape. You do as many reps as you can and just keep going. I could also only do the first 30 minutes of the yoga tape, and have had to do modifications on some of the moves (no weights, for example), but this is a program that will challenge me for a long time to come so I think it's a better buy than an easier program that I will have to trade up from. If you listen to you body and watch you form injury should not be an issue.
My mom bought them a while ago they are great but you shouldn't follow only them if your main focus is weight loss definitely mix it up and get your cardio on point. i love doing the dvd cardio x if i had alil to many calories that day.. just blast 350 to 400 off me
