| Do not follow the BMI. I have not seen the WII BMI, but all the BMIs i know of use only weight and height and don't take muscle mass into account. So most athletes are listed as overweight.
What I would do is a phased program by first lifting heavier to build up strenght, and then go to a higher volume lifting program. Also be sure to do interval training using either an elliptical machine on a high resistance, a rowing machine, or a treadmill on a high elevation. this way you keep the muscle, and still lose the fat. |
