Hi everyone. I have been at it for several months now, and unfortunately hit a wall after dropping about 33 lbs. My question is, how can I kick start my metabolism to start losing again. Should I add another 5 minutes a day on the eliptical, add extra resistance to my daily 500 cal / 20 minute eliptical work out, or add additional reps to my daily floor exercises (which includes a dozen sit ups, push ups, leg raisers, squat thrusts and working with 10 lb weights)? Would reducing calore intake further be more beneficial (doing about 2000 cal/day)?
I am 50 years old male, non smoker who is still moderatley overweight, but otherwise in good health (no problems with EKG, Cholestrol, Blood Pressure, respiratory system...)
If you've been doing the same workouts since when you first started losing weight until now then I'd say you should start increasing. Other than that though I'd speak with Steve here and see what he says, I'm sure he'll have some good advice for you
