sooo me and my mom are joining curves as of friday... she told me i needed to stop doing my cardio ... 4-8 miles a day... when we first start out... this made me sort of upset... she thinks i will hurt myself... im thinking at the very least i can go to curves monday wednesday and friday... and then walk the tuesday thursday saturday and sometimes sunday... does anyone have any insight... sorry this is kinda quick... we have tornadoes brewing here... and i need to get the middle room ready for just in case... -_-" thanks in advance!

Cheiri will become famous soon enough
I would say things at the gym and cardio on alternating days sounds good to me. Make sure to leave yourself at least one rest day a week, though. Good luck!

Curves is a female only gym type thing... they do personal training I think.

Angelica,

I lift weights monday, wednesday and friday mornings. I do cardio monday nights, tuesday morning and nights, wednesday nights, thursday morning and nights and friday night. I also go jogging sundays. I haven't injured myself, nor have I felt the need to stop. I love what i do. If you put your mind to it, and you think you won't injure yourself, then go for it. Do what makes you happy. The thing is to know when to stop if you feel an injure coming.

I do my weight training M/W/F and I always do cardio those same days at least 45 minutes, plus cardio on the other days. There's my plan...
