Rep Power: 6 | | Yup. Ebay is a good place. Who says you have to shell out the full price for it and pay for the supplements when you can find them on [ebay] and craigslist for cheap. You can easily find the workout schedule online in PDF formats to follow.
You don't really even need the nutrition plan. I never followed it because well, common sense says to eat right anyways. I think it's an overall good workout system, especially for someone who is not into the whole "gym" scene anyways. Can get a good hours worth of strength training right in the comfort of your own home. |

That's just me. I tend to be skeptical of anything that requires you to shell out money - especially money for "nutritional supplements". | Exactly my thoughts as well. It can be overwhelming at first, but the information is readily available for those inquiring minds. You just have to have the desire to find it and apply it. |

Rep Power: 0 | | My mom bought it since she's trying to lose weight as well, about two months ago. I finally tried it out the other day and I have to say it's pretty hard to follow when just starting out... I have really bad coordination so it was hard to keep up with some of the exercises they were doing (I did the Kenpo DVD)... and also I don't have much muscle mass right now so I tired pretty quickly.
That was a couple days ago and I haven't done it again just yet, but I think if I kept at it I could get better .. and my mom is doing pretty well in the weight loss area, too. |

If I can get a shower in nowadays, it's a good day. I need something simple and already put together. That's what you are paying for is the convienance from someone who is trained in proper techniques so I don't hurt myself. I'm on day two and proud that I have made the commitment so far. It's tough, but I'd rather be healthy. |

Rep Power: 8 | | We just bought P90X. Got it in today and I just finished day 1. I'm doing the Lean program tho. I was just surprised I could do all of the video. I was winded and couldn't do all of the push up routines, but I got through it. It totally kicked my behind.
As far as the gym. My boyfriend and I split the cost to get this program because we both don't feel comfortable going to a gym. Me, I can see the reason for me being uncomfortable because I use to weight 250 and am now at 212. He's pretty fit, just anxiety I suppose. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Stick with it Keep it up Veronandez86! I'm doing the lean too. Day 6 for me. This program is a butt kicker, but my husband grabbed me as I walked by him today and said, "Your gettin' thinner. you can see it!" I said are you lying to me and he said, "No really you can see it!" I'm very happy with the P90X. No weight loss yet, but areas of my body are tightening up. |

Rep Power: 5 | | I would highly recommend P90X I have had two friends have completed the program and have had amazing results.....Its tough, sometimes boring, but if you tough its out you will get results. My only friend lost 32lbs in 90days. The other totally sculpt his body.
I’m in week 4 and I weighed myself almost a week ago and I was down 9lbs...I don’t follow there diet at all. I just watch my calories and try to stay under 1800 a day.
I will def. be posting pics and feedback once I have completed the full 90days. Just stay motivated by pressing play! |

Rep Power: 5 | | | What's this chin-up business? What if I don't have a chin-up bar? I don't have a proper doorway to hang one of those ones either. Can I still do it?
The whole package is only $89 here at my Wal-Mart. I am DYING to get it but I keep hearing that if you're not already in semi-decent shape you should avoid it. That just makes me want to do it more. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I'm not in shape what so ever but I'm still going to try it out. It might kill me for a while but I've heard they have different ways of doing each workout based on your fitness level. |

I have a lot of friends who have tried it... then quit like a week into it. But I promise you if you just keep making time to do the videos, even if you take multiple breaks, and can’t do the exercise exactly like them; you will see results my dear. But remember diet is a huge factor! You cant just eat what ever and hope this video will save the day.
Lets us know how you do.

I'm 1 week in, I missed day 6 though cause I had a busy weekend but I'm planning on doing a 2 a day workout to make up for it. It really isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, I read in a lot of places to not even think about doing this workout if your not in shape but I'm not in shape at all and I can keep up with the videos for most of the workouts of course some of the exercises I can't completely do right now but I can do most of it. I'm doing the Lean Phase so maybe the Classic is harder? |

Rep Power: 0 | | P90x is a pretty intense workout. It goes without saying that it isn't designed specifically for strength gain, but its really effective for fat loss and getting cut. I've been doing it for a month now and i'm pretty satisfied with the results so far. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
