Given your size you really need to take your time with whatever aerobic activity you begin. Jogging or running is not likely the first approach I would suggest to you because you may injure yourself and all the bouncing will be uncomfortable.
Instead think about walking and keeping your
heart rate at about 50 to 55% until you've built up your stamina more. Subtract your age from 220 and the answer is the maximum
heart rate per minute for you. Then multiply your maximum
heart rate by the percentage (50%) to find out where you should be and that you should not exceed this number. You want to stay within the
fat burning zone. As you progress and lose the weight, you can up the
heart rate to 65% but I wouldn't suggest any higher.
The key is to stay in that
fat burning zone to really maximize your
weight loss. You'll need at least 30 minutes a day, but if you can do 45 to 60 minutes a day you'll see results sooner.
Of course you will need to eat well and include more fruit, vegetables and proteins. Definitely cut out the sugar and salt as much as you can since both are not helpful to you reaching your
goal weight.
Drink 8 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated. Rest. Yes, get your sleep since people who don't get enough sleep tend to eat poorly and make bad food choices.
You'll see the difference in a short time if you stick with it. Keep walking every day since it's low impact and you won't injure yourself.
Good luck!
