Hi
I have been on the weight loss forum and they have recommended that i do not lose any weight and just try toning up.
I am 5" 5, 19yrs old, weigh 140lbs roughly but i am very paranoid about my thunder thighs and bingo wings as i call them.
I have been a memeber at a gym for about 2 years now but i have not been very much lately. It has not really made any difference though i have not put on any more weight from not doing it and i did not lose any when i was there.
The gym is quite small, it also has a swimming pool, a sauna and steam room.
I just do not know what to do to make me lose weight/tone, i would love to have nice slim and shapely legs and a troned body.
You need to find exercises that tone your muscles...believe me, it works. I'm not sure what exactly. Weight training is good. Not tons...you don't have to end up looking like a body builder Start small; when I'm out of shape (like now ) I start with 1-2 poundweights, and work my way up. Find something that works your ab muscles, something that works for your butt (like stairs), etc.
You'll be surprised at the results if you do this stuff regularly.
Thanks for all the replies; I am really starting to get back into exercising now.
I know I have to change my diet slightly just basically eating more fruit and veg (ill get onto the smoothies) and I am now back at the gym. I will try and do exercise everyday now until I go on holiday and I have started using weights as well.
