Rep Power: 0 | | | 1 hr walk each day I've been walking on my treadmill for 1 hr a day, everyday at a rate of 3.4. I burn over 400 calories per day and I walk a little over 3 miles in one hour. This along with the diet that I am currently on has done well for me. |

I lost the majority of my weight with walking 3-5 miles a day. I live in a wonderful pedestrian friendly city with lots of challenging hills so I never got bored. Walking is a wonderful exercise, great way to clear your head and I got to rediscover my city by walking through it vs driving within it.

Rep Power: 0 | | That is GREAT! You may see even better results by altering your routine a bit, such as adding some intensity. The idea is to surprise your body and not let it get used to your routine. This way, you burn more calories.
