Feeling it!

As a newbie - I see alot of posts of frustration and questions - I wanted to post something incredible that happened today! I went to the gym and only did weights. It felt amazing to let go of feeling that cardio is the only way - I feel stronger and leaner than when I do cardio - and I know I worked up a sweat - but then after, I went home and leisurely walked my dog. Today is the first day of a real beginning of working my muscles.

Yeah, it feels great, and you should be doing that, but don't totally give up and discount cardio. There are ways of quickly doing high reps of certain exercises with weights to get a cardio workout, but otherwise they are two different things.
