hmm good question.. I have no idea. I know what you mean though, I've become a bit obsessive as well. I do the 20 min pilates in the morning at 6:30, and then when I come back from school sometime during the day I go for an hour workout at the YMCA near my house.

I think it would be fine, but if you start to get light headed or something like that then definitely eat more calories during the day. Lance Armstrong will ride a bike 7 hours per day and he seems healthy to me lol. I would think that when you get to your "weight" you would definitely want to up the calories, your body will feed off of the fat, but if theres very little left then theres a problem. Oh and drink lots of water lol.

Too much cardio is never bad, Frank Zane(Mr. Olympia 1977) used to work out on abs for 2 hours straight w/OUT rest periods. Make sure you drink LOTS OF WATER!!! AND GET SOME FRESH FRUITS/energy drink BEFORE you work out for energy.

I'm ceratinly no expert, but the guys over at www.worldfitness.com say that you CAN exercise too much because you muscles cannot grow if you don't allow them to rest. I don't know if those guys/gals know more than we do over heere, but I have seen them say this to many people who get a bit neurotic about there workouts.
Wonderwoman it all depends on what your goals are. If your a bodybuilder you dont want to do too much cardio because it sheds muscle but if your overall goal is to burn off fat/calories, then basically the more the merrier, to a point lol. Again it all depends on your goals. And drink lots of water(thats for you wonderwoman)

40-minutes to an hour is actually very good cardio exercise. Some people swear up and down you have to do 30 minutes of cardio to even start burning fat (which I don't think is true, though I don't dare tell some of these people :P), but it is reccomended by some people to do about 30 minutes to an hour of cardio a day.
