liked your article on hiit, by the way.
Gotcha. Different strokes for different folks. Personally, I don't find bodybuilder physiques all that attractive on women. That said, I have quite a few great friends who are female bodybuilders. And they are very beautiful to boot. If a woman wants to build big muscles, I say so be it. If a woman wants to be lean, so be it. Heck, if a woman wants to be plump, so be that too. I am all for personal fulfillment and happiness.

And thanks about the article, I am glad you liked it.

Thanks for the great replies guys! This gives me something to work with For now I think I'll stick with Stroutman81's recommendations with using "free weight exercises with few sets and 3-6 rep". Maybe three sets each to start with? And with few reps, I should go with heavy weight right? We had a formula to figure out how much weight that should be in H.S. but I forget what that was. Do you know by chance?

I am not a fan of formulas. I like to base it off of % of 1 rep max. For most shooting for 3-6 reps, your working weight would be something along the lines of 75-85% of 1 rep max, but that is just an estimate.

Take a few workouts to play around with your weights. Pick a weight, and if you feel like you could do a lot more than 6 reps, you know that you must increase the weight next workout.

3 sets per exercise seems good. I would stick with fullbody workouts 2-3 times per week, consisting of 4 or so exercises.

Thanks for all the help. I'll do that and make a diary post on here to track my progress.

You are welcome. Anytime, you know where to find me.

When you come up with the exact workout, I would love it for you to PM me, since I don't really check journals around here all that much, if at all. Just so I can see what you came up with and give you my opinion.

Best of luck to ya!

Incline weight bench

My weight bench has an incline but no decline. That being said, does anyone know what what the benefit of each incline level is? Mine has 3 levels, the first being flat.
