Ok so I decided to buy a new treadmill and I need some input on which to buy. I'm looking to spend around $1000. I did ALOT of research online and found a ton of good reviews for the Smooth 5.25, but they are an internet based company and no stores sell them. This fact got me a little suspicious. So, has anybody bought or know of somebody who bought this type of treadmill? What did they think about it? Any recommendations on another type of treadmill to buy in this price range? Thanks!

I recently purchased a Horizon T95 from Dicks Sporting Goods. It seems to have all that I need on it & more. They are having a sale currently so where its normally $1199. it was marked down to $599. You might want to check out theirs since they are on sale at the moment.

I haven't really heard much about the Smooth line. I think since they are internet based they aren't as popular since for that type of investment you should really try it out & make sure that you are comfortable on the deck with your stride.

I would suggest looking at a Sole. I own the Sole F80 and like you I looked at smooth. The F63 is about the same price as the Smooth you are looking at, but it sooo much nicer. I would check them out.

I own the Sole F63 treadmill. I absolutely love it. I bought it on sale in January at Dick's. It has the one feature I wanted the heart rate monitor. It also shows calories used based on weight.
