I have a subscription to Prevention magazine. It was a gift.
It seems to bill itself as a Health Mag, but it's begiinning to seem more an more like those silly diet mags. What do you think? (Then I wonder "why did my mother get it for me?")
I mean, this month it talked about getting into "summer shape" by doing their work out 10 (ten) minutes a day. Gimme a break - 1 hour a week?!? I wish!
I have noticed that it often talks about the various diets that are on the market, but most of us have realized (after years of trial and error) that going on some temporary diet is not a healthy way to lose weight.
Do I need to just throw this rag out each month or am I only being cynical?

hey Red, take it from some one who's been there and done that~it doesn't work. there ain't no quick fixes and if there were we would all be on this site!
mag's like that shouldnt have the right to make claims, as far as exercise goes you need way more than 10 min/day to get into shape by summer, i'm sure many of us would agree
