Sparkpeople suggested exercise

Am I the only one that feels they aren't asking for enough? 30 minutes of aerobics doesn't sound like much to me.

Neither does the strength/weight training they sugguest. I don't want to over work myself or burn out, but I want results and feel like I wont get them with their suggestions.

check out the stickied post in the harsh truth - Leigh has written her Common Sense Guidelines at the bottom...

and the Cliff Notes Version is (I think) if you're working smart -30 minutes is enough

Some of their exercises are OK -others - not so much - but they are pretty much the same exercises you will findin most of the fitness magazines.

Check out the threads on HIIT - you might get some ideas there...

Some days, I only get in 15-20 minutes of cardio, but that is if I'm doing my HIIT routine.

I don't follow the plan put forth by Sparkpeople. My hubby and I have created my own.
