Insulin and excess glucose

    Dear WL Forum,
    I've read that after we eat, our insulin level spike and after that it drops and our body burn fat.
    So fasting, or changing our meal time can help reduce weight.
    But there many things still confuses me.
    Perhaps I would like to ask one thing first.
    A few hours after we eat and our insulin drop,
    Do we still have glucose in our bloodstream that our body cannot process so the excess glucoses are expelled as our secretion?

    Not producing insulin = Type 1 Diabetes
    Too much insulin = Type 2 Diabetes and fat gain. Insulin resistance (more insulin needed to keep blood glucose under control)

    when blood glucose levels rise high enough to result in excretion of excess glucose via the kidneys, which leads to the presence of glucose in the urine. This produces an osmotic diuresis. Signs and symptoms of diabetic ketoacidosis

    Ketoacidosis is a deadly condition, but not the same as the beneficial dietary ketosis

    Thank you very much for your answer Trusylver,
    I read about this "Intermittent Fasting"
    And it says something like "..., after a few hours after eating insulin level drops, so your body start burning fat",
    "And our body cannot burn fat when there's insulin in the blood stream"

    I've read your link and it's a very good article.
    The major effects of insulin... are:
    (1) Carbohydrate metabolism:
    (a) it increases the rate of glucose transport
    (b) it increases the rate of glycolysis
    (c) it stimulates the rate of glycogen synthesis

    (2) Lipid metabolism:
    (a) it decreases the rate of lipolysis
    (b) it stimulates...
    (3) Protein metabolism:
    etc...

    Actually, what I really want to know is this:
    If we fasting a few hour and our insulin level is drop, do all the process above stop? I think so.
    And if they stop, is there any excess glucose left that WOULD HAVE BEEN processed by our body should insulin is high, therefore all those glucose excess is not used to increase our waste and expelled to secretion?

    Perhaps it's this that I want to ask.
    If we eat regularly, 1 plate in 06:00 AM, 1 in 13:00 and 1 in 19:00, we don't loose weight.
    But in IF
    Can we eat 1 plate in 08:00 and 2 plates in 12:00 and we loose weight? But how? It seems that we eat the SAME number of calories.
    So if we fast from 12:00 till 06:00 the next day, our body doesn't produce insulin and they say it starts breaking down FAT. But what about the excess glucose that would have been burnt in regular eating? Or the excess glucose is expelled through our secretion?

    Most of this glucose is sent into your bloodstream, causing a rise in blood glucose levels.
    The body's ability to store policies is limited, and any excess aldohexose that doesn't get keep as poliosis regenerate to triglycerides and keep fatty (fat) tissue. As your glucose levels rise, beta cells within the duct gland respond by secreting hypoglycemic agent into the blood.
